Lactation Consultant
A holistic lactation consultant is a professional who provides guidance and support to mothers and families regarding breastfeeding and lactation, taking into account the physical, emotional, and environmental factors that can affect breastfeeding success.
Postpartum Care
postpartum care includes professional support to new mothers and their families during the postpartum period, which typically extends through the first few weeks or months after childbirth. The role of a postpartum doula is to help ease the transition into parenthood by offering physical, emotional, and practical support.
Birth Doula
During pregnancy, a doula may offer education and guidance on birth preparation, including relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and birth plans. During labor and delivery, they provide hands-on comfort measures, emotional reassurance, and advocacy to help ensure the birthing person's wishes are respected. This can include providing massage, suggesting position changes, and offering encouragement.
Adoption Coach
Adoption coaching involves providing guidance, support, and resources to couples who are considering or going through the process of adopting a child. As a coach I would typically help clients navigate the complex legal, emotional, and logistical aspects of adoption. Overall, adoption coaching aims to empower couples through the adoption process, helping them make informed decisions, navigate challenges, and ultimately build loving and supportive families.
